Onida is proud to announce their association with Queen Bees FC, a team which is a part of the Adidas Creators Premier League. More on the league, Adidas is the first to create an all-women's football league, for women and teams owned by women. Empowering and encouraging women to be part of the sport. Onida’s Queen Bees FC are one of four teams in Mumbai to launch as part of the Adidas Creators Premier League which is owned by Ayesha Mansukhani, Manisha Ram Kelkar and Kimberly Shah, all successful women in their field of work. Having always found sports to be an important part of their lives, they wanted to be part of something which supported women in sports.

Onida has always strived for women empowerment and successfully conducted activities last year which included the Navratri Celebrations promoting the girl child and this year started off no different with a motive to promote women in sports.

Often women don’t get the luxury to cherish sport and we at Onida want to do our part to change that so they can experience the physical, social and mental benefits. In addition, we want to help break the gender divide and change the conventional stereotypes that exist for women in India that would prevent them from engaging in sport.

Onida is excited with this association and are rooting for the team to finish well and victorious as Champions.The League is currently underway and will end with Queen Bees FC’s last league match on the 23rd of February, 2019 at St. Stanislaus Sports Complex, Bandra.
