Onida with its Sales & Marketing office in Dubai reported a signaficant export growth in last few years, setting the base for an increased robust international presence. The shipments to the Gulf contribute almost 88 percent of Onida's export revenue while shipments to the Nepal, SriLanka accounted for 12 percent of export revenues.
LED Televisions & Mobile Phones have been introduced in these markets to strengthen the Onida brand presence. These products have customised models with local language user interfaces in line with its geographies of focus. Onida Mobile Phones (Selected Models) are now available with Arabic OSD (menu).
Onida products have been favored by hypermarkets like Lu Lu Centres, Carrefours, Geants and Dasmans in GCC countries.
